Belly Dance & Music

About Belly Dance
Across the Middle East and beyond, people have been practicing the ancient and sensual art of Belly dance for thousands of years. In recent times, the allure of this beautiful dance has become popular entertainment for family, corporate and festival events. Fun, colourful, mesmerising and often interactive, a Belly Dance floorshow brings excitement and energy to all occasions!
Our Dancers
Our dance artists are fully trained professional entertainers with incredibly attractive presentation, plus classic style and skill. We take our art seriously, having trained with master teachers internationally and having performed internationally ourselves. Each of our dancers has a huge variety of costumes, made to dazzle your audience with sparkle and glamour and we take pride in our ability to deliver shows that inspire and delight.
Solo Floorshow
A solo floorshow begins with a colourful veil dance to grab the attention of your guests, followed by an impressive fast and upbeat performance. The guest of honour and friends are then invited up to dance as well, with the Belly Dancer teaching a few moves to get the party going.
Group Floorshow
A group floorshow involves two or more skilled dance artists in matching costumes, with all dancers performing choreographed dances in sync. This also begins with a colourful veil entrance followed by an impressive fast and upbeat performance. The dancers can spend the final track or two dancing among the audience, inviting them up to dance and teaching them a few moves.

Arabian music
Underbelly’s network of musicians deliver music from across the Middle East to create a live, authentic atmosphere. Solo darabukka players create the perfect percussive backdrop to a Belly dance show, or an ensemble can be formed including a range of melody and rhythms instruments like oud, flute, accordian and more. Whether it is inspiring dinner music or upbeat dancefloor fillers you are after, our repertoire from Egypt, Turkey, Morocco and beyond will really set the scene.
