Underbelly’s founder still breaking new ground!

We’ve always known that Trisnasari was cutting edge. Now, she is also proving beyond a doubt that she remains a cut above the rest. This August, Trisnasari is preparing to compete in Australia’s national Belly dance competition, having been shortlisted to a small pool of just six contestants by a national panel.

We wish her well and we are all oozing with pride as the woman who started Underbelly and influenced hundreds - if not thousands - of dancers across the country enters the final stages of the competition in Sydney this month.

Trisnasari is also a Matron of the Organisation for Middle Eastern Dance, holds a formal qualification in dance teaching and continues to teach and perform across the country.
